Hoover, Alabama – Birmingham-Southern Basketball Assistant Coach, Zac Richards, accompanied by two current student athletes –  Freshman Clark Larson (above)  and freshman Trevor Byron (not pictured) – took a short trip to Hoover to visit the students from Gwin Elementary School early Wednesday morning for our new, joint program, "Guys Read." The visit consisted of Coach Richards leading a talk with a group of young men from Gwin Elementary that have demonstrated their commitment to reading through this program. The talk was followed by a brief skills demonstration by our student-athletes, and a head-to-head shooting competition with the students from Gwin competing against our Panther student-athletes.
